Great to hear you again - it's been a while. Just heard about Renee, very sad indeed - what a voice! Her passing reminded me to listen to Blues license which reminded me of you and your great playing WHICH reminded me I once had the pleasure of opening for you and Joe Walsh in Auckland NZ. Your amp shat out before you started and you used my plexi. It was so pleasing to hear you playing through it, and you played superbly. I remember the open bars well - Are you Experienced, MASSIVE sound, blew my mind!

Kevin had great songs. In the 70s Like going down town. Snow ball King. Celebration album was a Great album. Mama is a jazza Is good song too.

So much passion. A real guitarist.

Love the old KB. Had all of his cassettes in the day Celebration, Lonely One and Live. still reckon he is a gun guitarist. Certainly got me into playing guitar. I will always remember watching that jam with Carlos in 77. Took courage to get up there and he did us proud.

I just listened to "Lonely One" for the first time since I was a teenager - it's a really great record, although some of the lyrics may not go down too well in a "modern" context! I'd love to know what you were playing through back then - Strat, Marshall, Talk Box, Phaser(?) is what I can hear.
